Cobbler's Singer Machine Table 8728

This was a challenge. It's a Cobbler's version of the ubiquitous cast iron Singer Sewing Machine base. The first thing is that the sides are different heights and I wanted a level top, which was achieved by making some spacers from a couple of squash raquet shafts. I added a shelf as the whole thing didn't look right without it. The domed nuts on the top and shelf just add something to the whole package. 

Measurements: 71cm high x 80cm wide x 59cm deep.
